My VATSIM 2nd Attempt - Guest - 02-02-2006
Well flew my superbowl flight from KCLE to KDTW and it was great. I really enjoy the interaction with the ATC. The ATC in Cleveland are patient and helped me get off the ground and get my readbacks correct. I was really impressed with the way VATSIM works. I know some of you guys don't fly it anymore because of some of the ATC but with my first flight under my belt it went smooth.
And we had a small ASO showing.. another ASO pilot was flying into DTW at the same time as I was. ASO391 I believe it was. We had the tower confused.. quite funny.
Now if I had only remembered to turn AAS one after I had connected to VATSIM :twisted: Now I'll just fly it again offline.
