FS9 Meteors?! - iang77 - 11-18-2010

Been flying on FS2004 since it came out, but tonight I saw something I never saw before. Climbing in an Air France A380 through 8,000 feet out of CDG at 11:30 pm, I white streak flashed overhead from directly aft to the horizon in front of me. At first I thought it was some sort of glitch with an AI aircraft, but I kept thinking "that looked like a meteor." I've seen the aurora borealis plenty of times, but FS2004 doesn't have meteors, right?

A quick Google search turned up that in fact FS has had meteors since FS2002. It's amazing that after six-plus years on this simulator platform, it can still surprise me. Has anyone else come across this Easter egg?

I've seen them a couple of times. They are pretty rare, however.
