myAAS v2 Testing - AirSource Wide - AS 2 Tom Little - 07-15-2012 All - after talking with Joe he would like us to go AirSource wide for testing. Figured an open-beta would probably be best route (compared to a few more people now, then everyone else later). Don't think there should be any show-stopping problems (crosses fingers...again). Still have some things I want to do with it but, that can be taken care of with auto-update. Joe Re: myAAS v2 Testing - AirSource Wide - AS380 Mark Richards - 07-15-2012 The one thing I'm part way through testing is a long refuel stop on a long flight. I'm currently flying my Op Hermes Bid from NZAA-EGLL and currently parked in Hong Kong mid-way through my flight. I'd planned to finish it tomorrow but alas I now have to work on my day off so not sure when I will get it done, next Saturday probably. I'm also recording it in MyAAS v1 offline so I have a backup because of how long this flight is. Fingers crossed there's no issues for me on such a long sector with a refueling stop. The only problem I might see cropping up is with the flight points (not really a major show-stopper right now), but hopefully not. Of course, you are using what would be the suggested way to do it. myAASv1 along-side (just in case of any problems). Joe Re: myAAS v2 Testing - AirSource Wide - AS380 Mark Richards - 07-18-2012 Joe FYI - Loaded up the second leg (VHHH-EGLL) of the flight this morning and currently flying it. I used the flight with the ® on it, refuelling. MyAASv2 asked me if I wanted to continue flying that flight, so answered yes, got the warning to remind me to start flying it, which I did. MyAASv2 showed 50mins ground time remaining and started counting the time again from zero, so will be interesting to see what happens when I get to London and try to file it as to whether it will be 12 hours or 23 hours. It resets the ground time to 50. Basically you are flying a new flight with each leg. At the end it's all added together for the pirep. Of course the only thing that looks funny is is the flight time on the AAS map.
