I understand Its been shake rattle and roll down there yesterday.
First it was 8.9 then down 8.6 and now final 8.5.
Which downgrading seems quite common nowadays.

Thanks Tyrone... Fortunately, I'm in Australia these days and NZ is my home country so I'm keeping in touch with friends.
Thankfully, there's no injuries or loss of life reported, just some damage to properties and infrastructure.
Keeping a watching brief on it all at the moment.
