Windows 8.1 Joystick Disconnect - guigui - 12-21-2014
Hi all,
I bought a new laptop last week with (unfortunately) Win 8.1.
I fly FSX in windowed mode and when I check something else (ASN, Mozilla, ...), my joystick is not available. If I check the settings in FSX, there isn't a controller anymore (but the controller is still on the Printers and Devices page).
This problem is famous on the web but no solutions was found, the same problem exists with dozens of different joysticks.
I use the latest FSUIPC and my joystick drivers are up to date. I also turn OFF the manual power savings one by one to all USB Devices/Compositive Devices and all USB Root Hubs.
If anyone use FSX on Windows 8.1, please let me know.
In the mid-time, I will be back on my old laptop to fly FS...
