Thanks for doing this Event. I smile! Don Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - Jannier - 11-26-2019 Hi, This is my first year in doing the event and I have a question. 3. Fly General Aviation flight FROM where you landed in #2, TO your HOME airport* Is it allowed to land en-route to take on fuel? I want to "FROM where you landed in #2" depart FAOR too FACT (home base) , the distance is 688nm. My GA Commander 114 has a range of 619nm, So I want to land at FAKM to take on fuel. If yes, do I file a flight FAOR - FAKM - FACT? Thanks, Jannie Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - AS 2 Tom Little - 11-26-2019 Jannier Wrote:Hi, So leg #3 would be filed as FAOR - FACT. Put in your flight comments that you landed @ FAKM for refueling. Happy Holidays! Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - Jannier - 11-28-2019 Thanks Tom, will do. Happy Holidays! Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - AS201 Joe - 11-28-2019 Just a friendly reminder to use the re-fueling stop in myAAS2 at FAKM instead of flight complete. Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - Jannier - 11-29-2019 Aah! Thanks for the tip Joe. Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - Jannier - 11-30-2019 Might be a stupid and noob question, but want to make sure I am doing stuff correct. After completing the "home for the holidays event", can I continue on from my home airport and fly, or do I have to hang at my home airport till after 31 Dec? You can continue to fly, now that you have performed the flights you're good to go.. Re: AirSource Home for the Holidays Event! - Jannier - 12-01-2019 Great! Thank you Tom. |
