Heavy Metal AFR009 - Guest - 08-26-2007 Another leg down and another set of images. I opted for a KLM 747-400 (PMDG) and left a little earlier than usual to enjoy a nice sunrise. Positive rate of climb, and I am about to raise the gear (Added a little motion blur to gound) Here I am climbing out with the airport disappearing in the distance. (Other than a crop this is a straight screenshot) Still climbing here, and about ot raise the last of the flaps. (another straight screenshot here) Another shot in the climb just as I am about to raise the last of the flaps. (straight screen shot again) This is a shot taken about midway through the decsent (Straight screenshot) Still in the decsent, this is at approx 11oooft. (I added a little motion blur and a diffused glow to this shot) Heading towards the airfield now after vectors for a visual to runway21. (Straight screenshot) And here I am lined up on final (added motion blur to the landscape to try and add some movement to the shot) I am enjoying the African legs so far as the weather has been interesting. I was expecting nothing but blue skies but thanks to ActiveSky I have discovered this isn't the case.
