Airmap cannot be opened - meeberg - 11-01-2008 I've problems opening the Airmap site. After starting Airsource the first time is allway ok, but after some times renewing or reopening the airmap the system comes with a blank screen and the error "cannot be openend". Are there similar problems or do I have to search in my own computer or have anybody an idea how? - Leemazz - 11-01-2008 I get the same problem the map just goes blank after so long . - AS 2 Tom Little - 11-01-2008 Which one do you mean? The "consolidated" map with everyone on it or the map with only the pilot? Link please - Leemazz - 11-01-2008 Hello Tom its the main map with everybody flying on it . To be honest its worked ok for me the last couple of days . - AS 2 Tom Little - 11-01-2008 I think it might be a google map temporary issue? That may happen sometimes, although this is the first I've heard of it. Reply here if it happens again. - meeberg - 11-02-2008 It just happened again. Open the main site of Airsource and after logging on I open the airmap to see the flyers and it shows. Then I opened some sites from ASHA administration and after reopening the main screen and clicking on the airmap the next message occurs in a blank screen: http://www.air-source.us/Operations/act ... ImgMAP.asp cannot be openend. After a while I reopen the main screen and click again on the airmap and it shows again. It looks like a combination/sequence of screens with causes the error. - AS 2 Tom Little - 11-02-2008 meeberg Wrote:It just happened again. I only ask because I did find this --> http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2008/0 ... orted.aspx and it appears that there's nothing in the code I can change without causing errors in other browsers. I think a recent update from MS may have brought this error "out" when it didn't happen before as reading this page --> http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPo ... 5&SiteID=1 Apparently the error does not occur in other browsers such as firefox. I can say I don't get it in any browser at least so far... There are no [p]'s or [/p]'s (replaced the < with a [ for forum to process code correctly) in the code of this page so that's definitely not it... http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/927917 - meeberg - 11-02-2008 Tom, I use IE 6 and always the latest version and I indeed update automatically and it could be that after that updtae the error sometimes occur. Refreshing the page doesn't solve the problem, you get the same error. By the way this error is shown in a separate popup block. Now it's working again, so if it happens I will try to make more clear with sequence of commands and screens (if possible). Thanks for the quick response. Henk - meeberg - 11-16-2008 I think I know how and when. No problems if you start fresh with the Airsource website. But if you go to the Forum and also enter a subject and then return to the home page and the airmap, you get the error message trying opening the airmap. - AS 2 Tom Little - 11-23-2008 meeberg Wrote:I think I know how and when. Can you try to recreate the error now and let me know if it is finally gone? |
