Title: Georgian airports
Threaded Mode
#1
I'm preparing some ASHA help for Georgia and it would be nice to have Georgian airports in the database: UG28, UG22, UG23, UGGG, UGKO, UGSB.
If possible, thanks!

Henk,

All airports have been added.

UGGG is the code in MSFS, but in the the real world the ICAO code is actually UGTB. Both codes are in the database with the same name and coordinates.

Have Fun!

Roy,

What web sites do you use for the data or do you just use FS and the data from that?

Thanks,

Jim,

I use a combination of the following if there is a recognized IATA or ICAO airport code:

Great Circle Mapper Used to search for both IATA and ICAO airport codes and will also show any updates.

World Aero Data Used for foriegn countries mainly, gives location, runway and nav information.

AirNav Used for all USA airports.

Wikipedia Use for mainly the description, however, lately been finding they have links to the other sites as well, so will visit them first.

If all else fails and can't find any info on an airport, then I fire up FSX and put a Cessna on the active to get the info off of the Map view.

You might add this to your library:

Thanks Jim, will definitely add to my resource list.

I also added the airports which are in MSFS which were not in our database. So all Georgian airports should be in our database now.
