Use to drive by this place quite a bit in 2004.

I installed Google Earth and zoomed into the Pima Air and Space Museum. On each aircraft there is a blue clickable box that shows you a ground side photo.

Thanks Sonja, that's a really interesting post. Interestingly, AirSource has its own boneyard too - ie those ASHA aircraft that were decommissioned! I'm sure Tom has them tucked away in a datafile somewhere Smile

Been playing with Google Earth visint several airports. Many of them have the blue squares with photos of aircraft.

PANC has a slew of seaplanes!

Checking the gallery box in the Layers section, London Heathrow has a bunch of videos.

Groom Lake/Area 51 is pretty interesting too. So is Edward Air Force Base.

And the Baikonur Cosmodrome!
