Title: getting back into flying again...
Threaded Mode
#1
well now I have FSX and almost 900 hours since 2004... sheesh

what lost my interest was lack of current schedule and while I still see many not current and I realize this takes a human (=tireless time & effort with no real pay and their dedication).

I guess I need to fly the majors and stick to major airports to see more current data then?

A lot of schedules are hard to get these days without having to use web drop downs. We used to do them with PDF files but most airlines don't publish PDF files any more.

And I'm sure Roy would love any offers you are able to make to assist in updating an airline or two.

Like I sad I am not complaining

it takes some manpower to make the schedules updated, I am kinda surprised airlines don't offer PDFs but at the same time they either have a web app or a download or now an mobile app so its not easily accessible as you said.

I remember T.Little saying he made a system that would basically scrape the websites to download the data? Of course this depends on data that was better accessible I am sure.
