For those that may be interest, Bluegrass VA is running its annual GAAR event this coming February.
Those not familiar with the GAAR, it stands for Great Australian Air Rally, a fun event of timed flights between various ports within Australia.
You may fly any piston engine or turboprop aircraft of choice that was built between 1903 to 1975 with all flight sim varients catered for.
This years event consists of 9 legs starting in Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, and ending in the Queensland resort township of Herey Bay on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

Please note for the above.............

The GAAR web sight will be continually up-dated during the coming weeks with full flight plans, nav information, airport charts etc etc.
For those wishing to fly the event, please check the GAAR web sight regularly for the latest information and all are welcome to participate in the forum and screen shots.
