As a result of significant instances of conflict in Sudan, a large number of nations have committed to, and already completed, flights in/out of Sudan in order to evacuate foreign citizens. I have sourced a number of flights that have been completed and as such have set up Special Crew Passes for those rostered pilots who wish to complete them. A variety of military aircraft (non-combatant jet & prop) have been used for humanitarian flights to/from various airports throughout the region. Head over to the Crew Pass section and select the series SUDANEVAC to find which flights are available.

Yay! another great AS adventure! I tried to find HSWS on my FSX-SE and Avsim and Flightsim.com but to no avail...so, I built HSWS. Several years ago, I was interested in flying the Antonovs and many of the AS flights were in South Sudan and Sudan. Since I like to have air traffic around me, I upgraded/created all of the airports in the region to be more "AI-friendly" so I added aprons, navaids, fuel trucks, buildings, taxiway and runway markings, etc. If you want a bare-bones HSWS as well as the other airports in the region, search "Barry Woodward" or "Sudan" on Avsim.com. I also posted many military airports to accommodate military aircraft (parking, etc.) on the same site.
Happy contrails!

I've upgraded HSWS to include more objects and make it more interesting. In Avsim Library, search "Barry Woodward" and select "HSWS Upgrade". Delete the original files before installing the new ones.
Happy contrails!

Thanks Barry for all the work you do here at AS but also more widely in the FS community.
