Title: MyAAS2 Crashed
Threaded Mode
#1
Good evening team,

I'm currently enroute from Kansai (RJBB) to Memphis (KMEM) on FDX28. I clicked on the MyAAS chat box randomly, as I occasionally have in the past; this time it crashed. I do not have any additional details beyond that. I anticipate a total flight time of about 12.5 hours, but because AAS crashed about midway, I don't want to report the hours incorrectly. Would a manual PIREP be authorized or is there another corrective action?

System Specs for reference:
Windows 11
Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
x64-based PC
Core i5-12400F
Bios American Megatrends R01-A4, 2/21/2022

Thanks,
Harry

Hello Harry,

Just curious but did you try to restart myAAS while enroute? It should have been able to pick up the flight and continue recording I think?

Anyhow please send me your myaas.db file to my email address tomlittle @ air-source .us.

Once last thing, are you using the latest version of the myAAS program? Get the latest version here: https://air-source.us/operations/myaas2/myaas2.zip

Good evening Tom,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have had instances in which I was able to resume a flight but that is not the case with this one. File sent, as requested.

Thanks Harry. I've tried a few different things but had to send the database file over to Joe to have a look. It just didn't like what I was trying to do.

Tom,

No worries. If there is anything I can do, let me know. For what it's worth, I'm willing to clear the database and refly the leg for accuracy.

Hi Harry,

Cheeck your email Tom sent you a fixed myaas2.db file. Your flight should file through the File Menu then File Flight Reports.

If you need me to resend it to you, let me know.
