Title: New Version 0809
Threaded Mode
#1
Sorry everyone for the delay...got a little distracted by other things.

Here's a small update to test the update feature. Backup your myaas2.exe and myaas2.db files just in case.

Changes:
- suggested aircraft now shown in main window. Only works for scheduled flights for now. *
- possible fix for data points not always being uploaded to database.
- verified data points are being written correctly for multi-leg flights.
- time from refuel stops now included in flight time on online map.
- fixed the icon for oat not displaying

If you don't have check for updates checked in the settings dialog, you can update via Options->Maintenance->Check for updates.

I still have one more update planned which will add multiple saved flights and (hopefully) full integration of the pirep system (along with any fixes).

Hopefully all goes smooth
Joe

* - Tom is doing major work on the databases and the aircraft for bid, ga, etc.. will show up when available.

Joe,

The automatic update did not work. Everything went OK until clicking on the Re-start button. Then "MyAAS2.exe could not be found".

I went to my folder where I had AAS2 installed and sure enough no .exe, just the data file and a file called myAASV2_UpdateStub.

Edit: Putting V 722 and doing the update does the same thing, it gets rid of the .exe file.

Edit 2: OK now that time it worked. Maybe I was trying too quick without the server being totally updated.

Something blocked it from writing the file. If everything went ok all the way through.

If i may ask, what security programs are you running? Kind of odd that it let the delete work though.

I'll pm you a link to the new version

Ok, running same here so that's not it.

Glad to see it did finally work. I haven't tried it yet from the server. I'll give it a shot tomorrow, might need to put in some delays
