Title: Windows XP SP3 Load Error
Threaded Mode
#1
Hi,

I have an error to report. I tried these locations in the hard drive:

C:\MYAASv2\
C:\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\MYAASv2
C:\MyAASv2.exe

It acts like any program would that requires a folder structure. For example, just like if you try to run FS9.EXE outside of it's intended folder. :!: :!:
(At this time a newer system is waaaaayyyyyy out of my budget.)

All give an error in this image

Try the Visual C++ 2008 runtime download and see if that fixes the problem.

As a side note, myAAS2 can be installed, pretty much, anywhere (even on the desktop), there are no folder dependencies.

I have ran into a problem filing my second prep trying out the chat beta version. The pirep submission button after selecting the flight was missing. Reloading the program allowed a successful pirep submission.

My version of c++ 2008 is not updated. I don't know if any service packs for c++ 2008 is needed. I have read about bugs in c++ 2008 will cause the issues in some software.

What do I need a to do?

Update your ++ 2008 to the latest version and don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Actually, that is not the first time that has happened. Maybe 3-4 reported others a while ago. Really random and need to try and track it down. Let me know if it happens again.

Don't forget, you can also upload the flight after the end of flight screen. Cuts out a couple of steps.
