Title: Airports missing in Sri Lanka
Threaded Mode
#1
I have 4 odd airports that are in my sim and are not in the database. The reason that I call them odd is because the third letter in the code is the number zero. I am not sure why they are that way, but that is what is in my FS9. They are in key locations for ASHA missions in Sri Lanka. I would post a screenshot but I cannot get to photobucket from work.

Kerry,

If these are add-on airports you will need provide a source were these scenery files can be obtained. Also, need the following information in order for the airport to be added to the database:

IATA Code (3-letter code, if available)
ICAO Code (4-letter code, code which appears in MSFS, indicate if different in FSX)
Location (City, State, Country)
Latitude
Longitude
Altitude (Not necessary, but helpful)
Runway Info (Not necessary, but helpful)

I don't think they are add-on, but they could be. I will do some investigation when I get home. I will also check FSX and see if they are there.

EDIT: Here is what I found while sitting through a boring conf call at work. The airports do exist in real life, but I can't find ICAO codes for them. Here are some links to the info. I am still looking into where the scenery came from.

Thanks!!!!! Big Grin I researched last night to see if I could find where the scenery came from. I came up with nothing Cry But I did find that I had the same airports in FSX with the codes you listed.

There is so much going on in Sri Lanka but so few airports, this will help very much. Thanks for the help! Smile
