Title: FNA Norlandia Schedule Errors
Threaded Mode
#1
Hi,

Got another airport code error,

Norlandia Airlines
Flight 511
Depart - BIAR (Akureyri)
Arrive - KCNP (Ray Field)

Flight 512
Depart - KCNP (Ray Field)
Arrive - BIAR (Akureyri)

KCNP should be changed to BGCO (Nerlerit Inaat)

CNP is the IATA code for Nerlerit Inaat
BGCO is the ICAO code for Nerlerit Inaat

Thanks for fixing,

Mike Padgett

Should be good to go now. All fixed. Thanks for catching that one little flight in the middle of nowhere which probably no one else will ever fly again, but hey, that's why we're the best!

Hi Roy and Tom,

I appreciate both you and Tom for fixing any 'errors' that I may have discovered while searching for flights.
But after a day of reflecting on your response I feel I may need to make a comment.

It is true that the last three errors in scheduling I have brought up were of routes that were very minor, and to say the least, were flights that very few people, if any, actually fly.

I'm currently in a search mode for flights to USA airports that I haven't been to before, and in that search, I come across many flights that probably don't get any or no attention. Most, if not all, of the major airports in the USA I have flown to so my search tends to stray to often overlooked airports. But when I do find one, I fly that route regardless of the flight time, aircraft used, revenue earned, or popularity. The massive amount of airports and flights that AirSource has in its database is one of the primary reasons I fly here. And I agree with your assertion that AirSource IS the Best.

I hope that you or Tom don't view these error posts as coming from someone who is anal or nitpicking on trivial stuff. Far from that as I love the fact that when a member makes a comment about something here, someone is going to respond and do their best to fix it.

Thank you Roy for all of the scheduling efforts you make because they are the best. And thank you Tom for always stepping up as well to make sure things that can be fixed, are fixed.

Ok, Got that off my chest.
As Always, Happy Flying!

Mike - thanks for sharing that, oh and believe me there are TONS of errors all over the site - but most are not show stoppers and we all try to correct them as we can. But if it weren't for the reports from members like you, the site wouldn't ever get better! Thank you for reporting.
