Title: Microsoft Flight Simulator
Threaded Mode
#1
Greetings AirSource Team!

There have been some e-mails/questions about how we are going to handle integrating the new Microsoft Flight Simulator releasing 18 August 2020 with myAAS live flights.

After some discussion with Joe, it is evident that we are going to require "manual PIREP's" until Joe has the new FS program and updated FSUIPC to test. This could take quite some time. However, we encourage our roster to enjoy the new Flight Simulator and use the old fashioned "honor system" to PIREP flights. This means that live flights, maps and myAAS will not work with the new Flight Simulator until Joe is able to test and release an updated version of myAAS. More info to come once I am able to update the website to accept manual PIREP's for all divisions.

Thank you all for your patience during these exciting times!

They are working with Vatsim and the new sim uses Simconnect apparently

And I am sure that Pete and his team are working on a new FSUIPC version.

Yes, FSUIPC7 is in development/testing. They still have a bit of work to do with it though. They get that done, myAAS2 "should'" just work

Thanks for the vote, Don. I'm not sure I would go that far though
