Title: Cessna over Wales, UK
Threaded Mode
#1
Just enough time for a quick hop tonight so I thought I would take a flight over Wales in the UK (where I hail from incidently).

Here I am at EGCK just outside Caernarfon in North Wales.

Heading out from Rwy08 I decide I better get my skates on as the weather looks like its on the turn.

Despite the weather the sunrise is really great.

In the cruise at 5oooft .

Now in the descent I prepare to try and pick the airfield out of the gloom.

And here I am crossing the threshold of Rwy22 at Welshpool in Mid Wales.

Beautiful shots, Darren. The sky is particularly nice. ActiveSky?

Hey thanks for the kudos.

Yeah, thats ActiveSky alright LOL - I wouldn't fly without it. Of course I have added the lense flare in PhotoShop for effect, but the sky is as it was inflight.

I use Ground EnvironmentPRO with Active Sky (they work in tandem) so all the ground and sky textures are changed depending on the weather for each flight.
