Title: myAAS2 beta (Windows Defender Safe)
Threaded Mode
#11
New beta version uploaded.

Fixes include:
  • Fix for disappearing flight if upload failed
  • Possible fix for too many flight points being generated causing super long upload time
  • Fix for arrival airport name being assigned the airline name during PIREP (not noticeable)
For the disappearing flights: actually the flight data is/was still there. You might need to start with a fresh database or go to Options->Maintenance->Reset Database to clean those up.

Get it here -> http://air-source.us/operations/myaas2/myaas2_beta.zip

New issue (ARGH!!!)

Do not save and resume a flight. It will not re-load. If you do, send me your database file and I will get it fixed for you.

Hopefully, I'll have a new version up by the end of the day with everything fixed

Sorry for all of the inconveniences.

Ok, I have fixed the backup flight not saving and double-checked the rest.

I think this version should be stable.

Hi,

I'm getting the following issue where my login data isn't being properly recognised (as and as not admin).
  • Delete installed MyAAS2 folder (including the contained database).
  • Download and extract the Beta version, then run.
  • New database file appears and I'm asked for my login details.
  • Insert my details and get the message box user verified.
  • Click OK, splash screen appears and loading bar appears.
  • Error message box appears saying the supplied details are invalid.
  • Click OK and MyAAS loads with no flights.

I've tried clicking refresh flights, reset database, edit pilot info, refresh server data all to which I get the same user data error. About shows version 2.0.3999

Hi Alexander,

Can you try adding an exception to your firewall for myaas2? Maybe it is blocking it (though not sure why it worked when initially setting it up).

If not, please email me your myaas2.db file (as an attachment) and I will have a look.

Also checked to assure no duplicate pilot number associated user info, but looks good (rarely when we delete inactive users some data does not get fully cleaned out).

Joe - I've PM'd you with the file, the firewall exception made no difference. I tried disabling my Kaspersky Anti-Virus in the off chance it was interfering but this also made no difference.

Tom - I have previously had an account deleted years ago due to inactivity. I couldn't even hazard a guess at what my AS number would have been, but I'm using the same name and login details as what I would have used then.

I've used V2.0.3003 (I think the latest stable?) with no problems.

Can you double-check your password through the website (Human Resources -> Change Member Data). Your file looks good but, not working for me either.

Edit: also make sure you don't have either $ or # in your password (it's on the list of things I need to get done)

I've double checked but it is the same as what I've been using. I'm running the current stable version from a different folder to record my flights which is working fine with the same credentials.
The password contains neither of those special characters or any other unusual special characters.

I could try change my password and see if it'll work then if that'll be any help?

If it's not much of a problem, yes, can you try changing your password? Hopefully it solves the issue.

I have come up with a couple of other things I can try when I get home tonight (just in case).
