Also- even if your privacy setting is "high" or below, you would still need to "approve" air-source.us as a trusted site [through ie tools-->settings options] privacy tab. Enter air-source.us in the text box and press the "Allow" button.

I've tried all the above, Tom. Also tried turning off all spyware/antivirus programs, reduced "Privacy" to low...I just can't think of anything else.

The two places I can't get to both have (coincidentaly??) "/APPLET/" in the URL. So far they are the only 2 pages I have found on the site with that in the URL. Don't know if that means anything. What "applet" is it referring to? Maybe I need some "plug-in"...or something is disabled in my IE that needs to be enabled.

I've run through my entire "Knowledgebase", on this one  ...don't have a clue what to try now.

Well most of the pages within that directory are using java, so another suggestion would be to be sure you have the latest edition of java installed. However that still doesn't give me a reason as to why you keep getting bounced on login.

OK...I'm going off in search of the latest version. I would have thought that Windows Update would have added the latest, but stranger things have happened. This is a new install of my XP Pro OS SOOoooo....who knows?

Thanks Tom, will let you know.

EUREKA!! I've found it!!

Java. While searching for "JAVA and Windows XP" I came accross an interesting article. Seems Sun succesfully sued MS and made them stop including their JRE in Windows. Since this is the first time I've had to re-install my OS since I purchased the computer (6/04), I'm guessing the Windows Update site doesn't "carry" the old Java Runtime Environment plug-in (in fact...I now know it doesn't). I downloaded the latest (J2SE, or some such) but that was a disaster...totally screwed up my IE browser window, messed with my graphics settings...BUT, I was able to connect, no problems to all pages (Can I get a HALLELULIAH?!?).

Unfortunately I can't live with what the latest JAVA version messes up just to see these 2 pages. But we have found the culprit! I will now go on a journey to find an older version of "Java for Windows", Circa "BL" (before lawsuit) .

Thanks for all the help, Tom. Only one more post needs be done to this thread...the finding and installing of an older version which works like BEFORE the OS install...and the results.

Got it. Had to download and install the old MS JAVA VM and then MS JAVA 4.0 SDK. Then one security update from WU and all is well.

Thanks for your help and patience, Tom!!
