Tom, Could you do me a favor. I purchased an Embraer Phenom 100. I would like to change the home airport of this aircraft to KBLM Belmar NJ.
Thanks

Hello Ken,

I'll see what I can do, it's pretty complicated because the script hits different tables (it must update all past flights made with the aircraft for example) among other things.. so to force it after the fact might cause errors so I need to be very careful.

Okay so I only had to update the home airport which is a lot less complex (for some reason I thought you wanted new Registration ID for the aircraft. Done Smile

Well Thank you Tom. You had me worried there for a while. I am glad it was not as hard as you first thought it would be. I appreciate your help in solving this problem. Thanks again.

Hi, Tom!! what a great idea ... all those V$ just sitting around ...! I bought an aircraft and the home airport is still listed BIFK while I prefer KPUB ... is it possible to change the home airport?

Also, when I went to search in GA and wanted "my aircraft" it came back with nothing. What's wrong? I see nothing in the normal course of events to reflect the new plan, although my cost per hour was certainly reduced ... ;))

I want a 2nd private aircraft with a different home airport ... is that possible?

Thanks, again, for your hard work to keep AS interesting!

Hello Barry!

I do not see where any aircraft purchase was made. Assure that once you get to the second page that you are pressing the form button that says "Purchase this aircraft for $x:" I double checked and no purchases went through for you, and no charges were made to your $v account. http://air-source.us/Operations/logbook ... p?PILNO=29

OK, Tom, made my purchase and am ready to go ... but when I try to file a GA flightplan my Mooney isn't listed as an option. I know we don't pay hourly fees but can we get the hours? ... or did I miss a detail in new program?

thanks, again, for your hard work!

I forgot to add a deail: when I click "book" it takes me back to the GA home page and when I check open flight plans, I have none.

Good to see you got the aircraft purchased! Are you on this page, and does it have a button at bottom saying "START NEW FLIGHT PLAN"? Try clicking that and let me know how it goes.

http://air-source.us/Operations/asga/vi ... asp?id=378

If you start a NEW flight plan, you need to be sure to be choosing the departure airport as the same airport that the aircraft is currently located (as of this post EKCH). Alternatively, you can use the aircraft home page (link above) and starting a flight plan from there will automatically insert the correct departure airport.
