Title: GetServer Settings
Threaded Mode
#1
Good day. For some time now, whenever I fire up MyAAS with MSFS 2020, when I go to select "Add a flightplan", I always receive the below error message. The error does not prohibit me from loading an MSFS flightplan to MyAAS, however I find it strange that I did not used to get this error message before. I'd say it's been at least two months now.

[Image: Screenshot-2024-08-15-085446.png]
GetServerSettings; no such table: settings

Some troubleshooting steps I've taken:
-Purged the MyAAS2 database file from C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator folder.
-Uninstalled/Reinstalled MyAAS.
-Purged the Windows registry of all MyAAS entries.

My PC setup: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700K, 32GB RAM, Mobo: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI (LGA1700), Storage: Two [2] - 1863GB Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 ti

Like I said, this error has not prevented me from using MyAAS in any way, at least, not that I'm aware of.

So I have two questions then;

1. What does loading a flightplan into MyAAS actually do?
2. Any ideas why I may be getting this error message?

Thanks.

Hi Ken,

That's an odd one as that table is obviously in the database as everything else works. Can you send me your myAAS2.db file as an attachment to jbham -at- hotmail.com so I can have a look. Just out of curiosity, can you run myAAS2 from the desktop and see what happens?

As for the flightplans, we (Tom and I) had some ideas with them but, I'm not sure they were ever implemented. Maybe Tom can chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeppers. I'm completing a flight now and will attach to an email and fire it off once I'm done. Thanks for being willing to take a look. Smile
