Really nice to see it good and busy here, tempted to get another flight in before the Superbowl.

Seems a good time to thank everyone involved in the running and maintenance of AirSource, thanks to you all, this site and its community add so much to my Flight Sim experience!

I should point out that I am fairly handy with Photoshop and if you ever need someone to knock up badges, logo's, screenshots or anything else for that matter I would be more than happy to have a stab at it. I have never tried repainting aircraft but I am sure with some guidance I could even give that a go too.

Hmm...doesn't help that 1/3 of the map image is cut off Sad

@Lee - yeah, I do the same when I fly...refresh map...see who's on and where they are going...later...refresh map...etc..

@Daz - painting isn't really that hard. Have done a couple (crappy) ones myself. All you need is a paint program (which you have) and this -> http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/ select DXTBmp at the bottom.

If you're proficient with Photoshop and you want to try your hand at repainting check out Dan Prunier's, aka. MrTurbine777, set of tutorials on YouTube. Very thorough, excellent and entertaining set of tutorials on repainting. Especially, if your using Photoshop.

There's a total of 21 tutorials, so grab your popcorn!

Hey thanks Roy, I will deffo take a look over the weekend, I quite like the idea of creating my own paints.

Depending on how I get on I will post a few shots when they are done.

Cheers

You know what i did some work for Dan a while back he had his own website so i did a tutorial on bump mapping and how to create them , Dan is clued up when it comes to paints ..

I used to paint all the time problem is the hassle that comes with it , requests all the time people emailing none stop about this paint can you do this can you do that and can you paint my fleet for my VA .

Make sure you know what your in for if you release any freeware paints , it is rewarding but comes with hassle , i just paint my own these days . One day when i have more time i will paint some more as there is not so much released these days ....

Here is a teaser
