Title: New Build 05/20-B
Threaded Mode
#1
New build posted. Just flew a flight and found two issues (well 3 but ones for Tom) and thought I would fix them real quick.

- flights that have been PIREPed weren't being removed - fixed
- outside air temp still not right - fixed now (my own case of RTFM (e-mail) :oopsSmile

For Tom, last page of the PIREP forms is missing the button. Can't get back to the beginning to do another flight.

Thanks for the updae Joe - and I will need to look into doing something about that as we are dual-utilizing the PIREP pages (both version 1.x and V2 are using these same facilities except that first PIREP page)

Ah, ok. Yeah, just noticed it when I filed my flight. This will be the last update for a bit, unless something major comes up. Will refine some smaller things but will save the builds so we can get some testing done. Everything seems to be working right.

Version info, I haven't put in yet, but will get that in there.

Sorry, having a week from hell at work this work, three days in and already worked nearly 50 hours. Hopefully I'm having Friday off so will get a chance to do more testing and try to PIREP my flight from Sunday.

This morning I finally had time to breathe and catch up on everything.

I fired up the sim on the gate at PANC where I finished my last flight and loaded the PMDG NGX that I had flown and loaded the final fuel figure.

Started MyAAS2 fine and it recognised I had a flight in progress. I resumed the flight and it appeared in the flightboard. I ended the flight and was given the option to PIREP it which I did.

Went to the PIREP page Tom posted and there were no flights to PIREP.

Refreshed my flights in MyAAS2 and it found nothing.

Went to my Scheduled Division plan book and the flight is still there.

The .db file is only 1k and has a file date of the time I resumed the flight and clicked on PIREP.

Fired up MyAAS2 on the laptop (another instance) and flight is available there and shows as not yet started.

Reading the WIP Manual it states:

Quote:10. When at your arrival gate/pad, click on Menu->End Flight. This will save your flight
results into the program database.
11. (Back at the main window) Select File->Upload Flights... This will upload your
completed flights to the Air-Source database.
12. Select File->Pirep Flights. This will send you to the web-page where you can finish the
flight reporting process

After completing step 10, MyAAS2 closes. If I don't have any flights planned and the refresh shows no flights, I can't get back in to MyAAS2 to complete steps 11 and 12.

Just completed a GA division flight, NZRO-NZTG for a flight booked, commenced and completed with the latest build and same issues as above.

Not sure what's going on there Mark. When you say...
Quote:After completing step 10, MyAAS2 closes.
Do you mean closes to desktop or closes to main page?

Give the new version a shot, 05/25, with a short flight and see if that works for you. I tried it myself with a test flight and worked fine all the way through.

Joe

Note - Hey Tom, my delete permissions work. thanks.

I clicked on PIREP flight and MyAAS2 application closed. It didn't close to main page.

I'll download 05/25 shortly.

Any chance when you upload the zip file, you could include the version number in the archive name, just to make sure we have the latest version?

BTW, purposely didn't install the new version before running MyAAS2 to see if the Check for Updates worked and it didn't direct me to download a new version.

Yeah version information is coming. Was going to put it in for this one, but forgot.
Hopefully I'll have auto update done this weekend.

And download changed to show version number
