Title: Air Source Home for the Holidays Promotion
Threaded Mode
#1
Can anybody tell me how to participate in one of these?

How does Air Source knoe that the flight I'm making is part of the promotion? How do they know what my home airport is?

In other words, how do you sign up?

Thanks.

Hi,

No need to sign up!

Go here:

http://www.air-source.us/operations/air ... irport.asp

and locate the airport closest to your location go to the airport screen. On that screen click on the Set As My Home Airport in the upper left.

Now use MYAAS and fly a flight of at least 150 miles TO that airport and PIREP your flight. Then every few days Tom reviews the flights and will issue the award and $.

Please note that you only have two more days!

As I said in the Home for the Holidays official thread that 3S8 which is my home airport isn't where it should be on the map, it thinks its somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean near Africa yet 3S8 is actually in Oregon and I flew from Ukiah, CA which should have been enough distance to be eligible for the award.

My profile is on vacation as I' getting ready to leave for Europe, I am a bit stressed ou for prep time so I'm focusing on that now; I don't know when I will have time to fly again (maybe this spring/summer) since I will be volunteering out of state when I get back from Europe so I can't bring all my hardware with me Big Grin.

I had to switch to vacation status so I wouldn't lose my profile, if this is a problem in any shape or form please let me know.
