What was your approach speed?
If you come in to "hot" then most aircraft have a tendency to "float". Even if it performed fine during the approach, at about 50ft you hit a cushion of air that is formed by the downward motion of your aircraft hitting the ground and pushing you up.
In that case I have a tendency to push the stick forward and land it. That's impatience on my part and I'm schooling that out of me.
I remember one time hitting the ground at 250KTs.
Yeah... Didn't get that plane stopped on that runway. Or the next...
I do remember taking the 5 back to the airport, first, no second exit.
I'll notify the maintence personnel. Next time, you buy them the beers
