Title: What is a "73S"?
Threaded Mode
#1
This aircraft shows up in the "equip" of several scheduled flights?
Can I take it it's some sort of B737 and file as such, for now?

Vic,

There's a 72S, but there is no 73S in current database. Could it be the 72S you saw?

Which airline schedule did you see the 73S in?

Nope...when I click on the "73S", to get an aircraft description, it comes up as "Unknown". I've checked it several times, Roy...and it ain't me LOL!.
They are all "Air Zimbabwe" flights, as far as I've seen. It may exist under other airlines. Check the HTDA-FVHA Air Zimbabwe flight number 349 departing at 1700. "Equipment" is 73S...maybe a typo by the SFM?

Vic,

The 73S is actually a Boeing 737-200. The code was used when we did a mass update back in 2007 and we didn't catch the error. Thanks for the heads up. Rather than try to fix the many schedules this erroneous code may appear in, I've added the 73S to the database. When you click on the 73S now you'll see the Boeing 737-200.
