Anybody get these or is it just me. They happen around an hour into the flight and once you touch the menu you get a CTD. UIAutomationCore.dll crash, BEX crash and now fsx.exe crash. Ive done much fixing and researching this problem. Just wondering is anyone else experienced this??
Repairing FSX and if it happens again, its going into the trash, not worth my blood pressue getting up over this. Vista64 is my OS.

P.S. I can hear my FS9 in the background saying something like "I never treated you like this"!! Guess Im gooing to have to give him a big hug and sorry and go back to FS9 and have happy, successful flights!!
I believe, and Im knocking on wood as I type this, but I have or think I have found the problem. my dll was 7.xxxx something. recomendation was to download and older version 6.xxxxx, git rid of the new one, activate the older one get it in to windows32 folder and then copy and paste into fsx root. So far so good. Scratching my head on this one, but what I read was nothing but Windows 7 people having this problem. So me, running vista64, could I have gotten that dll in an update, IDK?? Either way, been testing now for 6 hrs and not one crash, again, knocking on wood.
Anyone having same issues, please PM me and I will seed you all the links to get this fixed.
Still having the same problem. Googled it and seems to be a big bug of some sorts, but all posts are old. Only error I get now is a FSX.EXE error with local 1033 and thats it. Any help would be great. Thanks!!

I too get the crash with the menu sometimes not always but now and again . Like you though i have no idea what it is .
I give up. Thought I might of fixed it but no luck. The UIAutomotioncore.dll is the same in three folders. Windows/System32, WOW32( I think) the windows on windows folder and in the FSX folder. One problem I had is I could not register the .dll. I was able to do it once before but could get it to reg this time. Departed LAX and was clicking the menu like crazy and thought it might of been fixed but no luck. All the reading i came across points to SP2. Tried to install PMDG MD11 with out SP2 but wouldn't let me. I wonder if I can uninstall SP2 and see what happens.
So. I'm just done trying to fix this. Sucks but I've ran out of options. I wonder if putting that . Dll In the modules folder will work. IDK!!!! I would uninstall but everytime I do that it screws up my FS9 even with the flight1 reg tool. Oh well. Just got some new scenery for FS9, Dublin 2009, imagine VHHH and Aerosoft mega airport Frankfurt x. So looking foward to checking those out. Right now, just started a FDX MD11 trip, MEM-LAX-PHNL-VHHH-PANC and back to MEM. The VHHH scenery my imiaginesim looks bad ass. Looking foward to checking that out.

Amen brother !! I found some good tweeks for fs9.cfg that helps with the mesh. Still doesnt compare to FSX mesh but looks much better and sharper. And oh yeah, my FS9 runs like a dream. In all reality, the only thing I liked about fsx was the landclass. But like I said my fs9 landclass comes close. But yeah, back from the darkside!!!
