Title: No longer works after switch to Chrome
Threaded Mode
#1
Switched my browser from IE to chrome earlier this week, and now can no longer Pirep a flight. MyAAS seems to record the flight OK, but when I end the flight and attempt to send the PIREP, the box opens but remains completely blank where you would normally enter the departure time, notes etc.

Hmm, that's an odd one. I use Chrome myself.

Maybe try Clearing the cookies?

Neil,

Another thing to check is to be sure all your windows updates are completed and nothing in the "queue"... I had problems with the google maps not displaying correctly for over a month, come to find out it was just an update that needed to be done.

Thanks for the suggestions - tried these but no success. Another weird thing I've noticed is that the GA division photo which updates each day on the Division page is no longer visible. Any ideas what might be causing this additional issue ?

The picture is unrelated and happens in any browser. I'll need to fix that.

As far as the myAAS PIREP, this is strange because it's really a control window that myAAS brings up. Joe does the control use whatever default browser is being used or is the control window hard coded?

It uses the standard windows HTML control. Just a thought...when it shows the blank screen, make sure the window is active (click on it) and press F5. Should re-load the page. See if it helps

Just have to make sure...you didn't un-install IE did you? Smile

Sorry Neil - before we had (even the original) myAAS, the PIREP was just a web page. Now it is kind of the same but within this control and myAAS is required to send information to the web page within that control. I hope a reinstall of IE will take care of the PIREP issue.
