Title: EVENT: B747 QUEEN OF THE SKIES
Threaded Mode
#1
The B747 Jumbo has been part of our lives for many years and the final commerical aircraft to be constructed recently rolled off the line. The Queen of the Skies has been so popular that 1,574 were sold to various airlines over a 54-year production run and with a number of different variants.

To celebrate the magnificent Queen of the Skies, an event has been created that will contain a mixture of routes that are from real world schedules, past and present, and covering a few of the different variants. This event will be popular amongst heavy "junkies", myself included, but will also be an opportunity for those that don't fly heavies often to enjoy the experience of flying it.

There are 36 legs for this event and for those that complete all legs, will receive a cash reward of V$36,747 along with a logbook award. Go to the Crew Pass Section and select the 747QUEEN series to see all the flights that have been created point-to-point in succession. Jump in and feel the power of the mighty Jumbo! Please ensure that once you have pirep'd your flights that you return the Crew Pass.
The event concludes 6 August 2023. Enjoy!

Hi, is it a requirement to fly the specific variants, or is it allowed if one flies the 747-400 for them all?
Regards,
Simon.

Hi. Any variant can be used. Most of the variants are available on the more common websites, but in any case any jumbo is a good jumbo Smile

Hey Norm
I am flying the RJAA - RKSI leg.
I have been closer to Mt. Fuji back in 1968 at Yokota Air Base, but to see it on the Sim brings back memories!
Thanks for this trip and all the others.
I appreciate it, Sir!

Hey Don,
Great to see a fellow Yakota'n. I was there '84 to '89, and '97 to '01. You'd probably not recognize it at all nowadays, especially Tachikawa and Fussa.
